Brigid is an experienced college counselor who brings 15 years of academic and admissions expertise to students applying to highly selective colleges. She ran her own independent admissions consulting firm for years, specializing in selective and East Coast admissions, as well as supporting first-generation students navigating complex application processes.
In addition to her consulting work, Brigid has an extensive background in higher education, most recently serving as a professor at the University of Nebraska–Omaha. She also worked as a teaching and research assistant at Tufts University, where she earned her master’s degree, and has taught across the humanities, including history, philosophy, literature, and English composition. This unique background gives Brigid a rare, insider perspective on college-level academics and how to position high-achieving students for competitive admissions.
An award-winning scholar, Brigid received the University of Iowa’s Dean’s Achievement Award and Tufts University’s Sarah Plummer Memorial Prize. She approaches admissions as both a strategic and developmental process, helping students craft compelling, authentic applications, and preparing them to thrive once they arrive on campus.
In her free time, Brigid competes in triathlons, teaches youth cycling camps, and enjoys reading historical fiction, traveling, and spending time with her family.
