Arman Davtyan

Serving as Director of Counseling at HelloCollege, Arman brings more than 20 years of experience in enrollment management, student services, and higher education leadership. In overseeing our college counseling team, his focus is on developing and implementing processes and initiatives to enhance and scale service delivery as HelloCollege continues to grow.

Prior to joining HelloCollege, Arman served as Assistant Dean of Enrollment Management at Pepperdine Graziadio Business School, where he led a multi-year enrollment growth strategy across the school’s academic program portfolio. He has held various management and leadership roles at other institutions, including University of Southern California, UCLA, and Occidental College, continually implementing data-driven methods to strengthen student access, engagement, retention, and educational outcomes.

Arman’s commitment to supporting young people on their college journey is deeply personal. Having immigrated to the US just before his 10th birthday, he didn’t have the benefit of family/parental guidance on the American education system. After going through the public secondary school system in the Los Angeles Area, his path led him to a small liberal arts college, where he experienced profound growth and enrichment. This experience instilled in him a passion for working in higher education and a deep belief in its transformative impact. It is this conviction that draws him to HelloCollege’s mission.

Outside his professional roles, Arman is an avid tennis player, still driven by competition long after his days as a college athlete. He is also a culinary enthusiast, with a particular love for exploring wine country and visiting boutique vineyards across California and beyond.
