Dr. Angelique is a college counselor and educator who blends strategic rigor with warm, practical support. With more than 12 years of experience in education and student success, she helps students turn their interests, experiences, and ambitions into thoughtful college pathways and cohesive applications. Angelique holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and a Master’s in Educational Counseling from the University of Southern California (USC).
Her approach is intentional and big-picture. Angelique helps students build clear roadmaps focused on academic growth, meaningful involvement, leadership, and authentic storytelling. She guides college exploration, academic planning, applications, and essays, shaping students’ experiences into compelling stories of growth and impact.
Angelique believes a strong application should reflect who a student actually is, not simply check the boxes they think colleges want to see. She encourages students to pursue meaningful opportunities, develop measurable impact, and explore their academic and career interests while balancing ambition with sustainable schedules. Her calm, decisive advising style helps students and families bring clarity and structure to what can otherwise feel like an overwhelming process.
In addition to counseling students, Angelique teaches at local community colleges and has led curriculum development and advising-training initiatives, bringing an educator’s perspective to her work with students and families. She can be found spending time with her family, supporting her sons, playing tennis, or visiting coffee shops with friends.
