Brian Vasquez is a dedicated educator and college admissions consultant who believes that impactful advising starts with genuine connection. With extensive experience guiding high school students across both Los Angeles and New York City, Brian has built his practice on the core belief that vulnerability and truly getting to know his students must always precede any academic recommendations or admissions advice. By fostering a safe, open environment, he empowers students to authentically articulate their goals, strengths, and unique stories.
Holding an M.A. in Medieval and Renaissance Studies from Columbia University and a B.A. in History from UCLA, Brian brings an Ivy League perspective and a deep appreciation for rigorous scholarship to his counseling. Having also served as a university adjunct professor, he possesses firsthand insight into what higher education institutions expect from incoming freshmen. He leverages this dual experience to help students not only find the right college fit, but also cultivate the critical thinking skills and robust academic habits necessary for long-term success.
