Gerene Keesler, MS, is a college counseling professional with 20+ years of experience in admissions advising, career counseling, and academic coaching. Her students have earned admission to Duke, Cornell, Notre Dame, Emory, University of Michigan, NYU, Boston University, William & Mary, Purdue, and Gonzaga, among others.

Her work centers on supporting students and families through critical academic and career transitions, with particular strength in working with neurodivergent and twice-exceptional (2e) students, holistic development, and equitable outcomes. She is fully bilingual in Spanish.

Gerene has held a range of roles spanning K–12 and higher education. As a college counselor for PrepU, she provided individualized guidance to international students on university selection, major exploration, applications, essays, and interview preparation. As Assistant Site Director at Troy University, she managed graduate admissions, financial aid, and 400+ student records while maintaining strong measurable outcomes and student satisfaction.
