Jordan has a passion for helping students succeed in the admission process. This interest stems from his academic background, personal commitment to diversity and inclusion, and professional goal of creating more equitable communities in higher education.
As a native of Philadelphia, Jordan received a BA in American Studies from Columbia University and a MA in American Studies from King’s College London; at both institutions, his research focused on contemporary literature and the lived experiences of transnational migrants. He went on to receive a MFA in fiction from New York University, where he was the recipient of an Axinn Foundation/E.L. Doctorow Fellowship.
In the professional realm, Jordan has over +10 years of experience helping individuals, companies and charitable institutions craft their unique voices for a variety of audiences and stakeholders. He has worked extensively in the field of admissions consulting to assist over one hundred applicants gain admission into their top undergraduate and graduate programs.
