Justin Lynch

Justin Lynch is from the heart of California, the Central Valley. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering and is now in the final year of his master’s program in Astrodynamics and Satellite Navigation Systems, graduating in the spring of 2027.

Though grateful to have spent most of his life in California, Justin is eager to explore and learn more about the world. Over the last couple years, he has split his time between Boulder, Colorado and Houston, Texas. When he isn’t studying rocket science in Boulder, he’s putting it into practice at NASA, where he has supported the Artemis Program through the advanced space suit laboratory, flight mechanics and trajectory design, and GN&C autonomous flight systems. Justin hasn’t achieved his childhood dream of being an astronaut yet, but he’s taking one step at a time toward flying among the stars!

Aside from academics and space research, Justin is constantly pursuing the next adventure. Whether it’s snowboarding, sky-diving, concerts, or camping, he always has something planned.

Justin is an exceptionally capable teacher, having worked with children for the majority of his young adulthood. He has spent multiple years as a camp counselor and program director, serving as a role model  while teaching social and leadership skills. Along with the pro-bono tutoring he has provided in San Diego, he’s happy to break down a problem in 14 different ways for you!

As a Tutor for HelloCollege, and someone who sought out tutoring himself in high school, Justin understands what it means to bring your education to the next level. He plans to create inclusive, Socratic tutoring sessions tailored to your individual strengths and weaknesses. He thinks of each session as teamwork, where you can strategize and practice a successful game plan to tackle any challenge!
