Sarina Patel

Sarina Patel, MA, is a college counseling professional with over 10 years of experience in counseling, student success, and program leadership. Her students have earned admission to NYU, Princeton, Columbia, and UC Berkeley, among others.

Her work centers on supporting students and families through critical academic and career transitions, with particular focus on college access, holistic development, and equitable outcomes. She is especially passionate about working with first-generation and immigrant families, helping them navigate complex educational systems with clarity and confidence.

Sarina has worked closely with middle and high school students and their families, providing individualized guidance on academic planning, college and career exploration, course selection, extracurricular development, application strategy, and socio-emotional growth.

She has served as Assistant Director and Evaluator for the Mental Health Professional Expansion Project at Long Island University, leading outreach and recruitment, coordinating training and professional development, and supporting data analysis and progress monitoring. She has also held roles as Student Success Manager and Enrollment Advisor, managing large caseloads, fostering meaningful relationships, and driving measurable outcomes for students.

She holds a Master of Arts in School Counseling and Clinical Mental Health from Kean University and holds certification as a School Counselor.
