Shaun has 15+ years of experience in supporting diverse families in education, including school counseling, college counseling, and college admissions at RPI. Shaun is a passionate educator and counselor with over 15 years of experience in educational leadership. His experience includes teaching, school counseling, college counseling, and rigorous college admissions. A primary focus of his work has been in supporting students and families as they navigate the complexities and nuances of the college admissions process and career exploration, with particular attention on improving access and equitable outcomes.
Shaun brings extensive experience in counseling diverse students and families across the country, but in particular the competitive academic environment of North and Central New Jersey. He has worked closely with high school students to provide highly individualized guidance on academic planning, course selection, meaningful extracurricular exploration, college list building, and reflection on career aspirations. His approach is deeply informed by a professional framework intended to support the whole student, ensuring that every student he works with receives the same genuine level of care and support, both academically and socio-emotionally.

In his time in Undergraduate Admissions, Shaun supported students at various stages of the college exploration process, especially focusing on rigorous STEM programs.
