College List Builder
For many high school students, deciding where to go to college can be overwhelming. With thousands of institutions to choose from, identifying possible schools and evaluating them on your own is a daunting task. Students often wind up limiting their options, choosing to apply to the same universities as their friends, their parents’ alma maters, or local colleges.
There’s a better way to find your college match. HelloCollege’s College List Builder helps students create customized catalogs of schools based on their unique needs and goals. With a skilled college matchmaker from HelloCollege, you can be confident in your application decisions.
College Search Services Designed to Find Your College Match
Our college match search services help students craft lists of schools that are aligned with their goals. The College List Builder from HelloCollege uses a “S.A.F.E.” framework, meaning institutions are filtered based on social, academic, financial, and employment factors. We don’t simply make a list, though; we help students manage, rank, and track potential colleges to find the right fit.
An astonishing 35% of students who start at one school end up transferring to another, and more than 80% of college students change their majors at least once. In addition to being disruptive and stressful, these transitions can extend the time and money spent on higher education. Using a college matchmaker can help ensure you find the right school the first time. This, in turn, can maximize your confidence and improve your chances of success.
Choose HelloCollege’s College Matching Services to Find the Right Fit
At HelloCollege, we know that students don’talways get the help they need from high school guidance counselors; many simply lack the time or resources to help each student create targeted lists of schools. HelloCollege’s services are designed to fill that gap, providing one-on-one support that can be crucial for college admissions.
HelloCollege has helped more than 1,200 students with the college planning process. In fact, just 9% of our students have transferred to other institutions and only 14% have changed majors.
