Pamela Greene

Pamela has experience working with both high school and college students. Pamela’s career in education started with the pursuit of her first graduate degree in Student Personnel Administration at Teachers College, Columbia University. She interned in the Office of Student Life and worked in Career Services while pursuing her second graduate degree in Psychological Counseling. Pamela served on a Cross-Cultural Research Team while pursuing her degree where she contributed to a publication in the Professional Journal, “Adolescence”. While at Teachers College, Pamela successfully led Career Services for the largest school of education in the world, servicing thousands of students, alumni, and employers. Pamela took time out to spend time with her children and pursued her School Certification, gaining further experience in school and college counseling as a college counselor in an independent virtual secondary school and as an Admissions Reader for the University of California – Berkeley. She utilizes best practices in student counseling, educational planning, and career preparedness to create matches with colleges that provide the best academic, cultural, and social fit. Pamela is committed to offering exemplary services to students and their families, while meeting their individual educational needs.

Pamela is committed to diversity, and cares deeply about providing students with equal access to the most competitive universities based on merit. She has served disadvantaged students as a Volunteer College Advisor at Columbia University’s Double Discovery Higher Education Initiative and has mentored students through both ScholarMatch and FirstGen Support. Prior to joining HelloCollege Pamela served as a college counselor on a virtual platform in a private global secondary school. Pamela is proud to serve as a volunteer Alumni Admissions Ambassador for Teacher’s College. She is excited to be part of the HelloCollege family and adding her professional expertise to the counseling team.
